UK Open Championships
The UK Open Championships, established in 2018, serve as a fundraising event in support of student Taekwon-Do development.
Open to the wider Taekwon-Do community, the championship celebrates unity across styles, offering individual Patterns and Sparring competitions. Frequently attended by Pioneers, Grand Masters, and Masters, this event generates a unique atmosphere of respect, tradition, and high-level competition.
Last held in 2023, the UK Open not only raises vital funds for student initiatives but also strengthens the wider Taekwon-Do family.
BUTL Junior Championships
Launched in 2023, the BUTL Junior Championships is a celebration of the next generation of Taekwon-Do athletes. This specialised fundraising event brings together junior competitors from across the country in a safe, supportive, and competitive environment.
What makes this event truly unique is its integration with the UK Student National Squad, whose athletes officiate and mentor throughout the day. All proceeds directly support the Squad’s international competition efforts, ensuring the future of student Taekwon-Do continues to thrive on the global stage.
